Liberty of London shirt

Liberty of London

Named after the founder Arthur Lasenby Liberty, a London shop assistant who decided to open a shop in 1875 in Regent Street, the heart of the English capital.
It was one of the first department stores to sell fabrics, furnishing accessories and clothing.

The genius visionary Arthur Lasenby Liberty invented a new type of printed fabric: its abstract floral patterns on the highest quality poplin fabrics came to represent the cutting edge in the use of shapes and colours.
